support

Breast cancer is an emotional disease, as well as a physical one.  A breast cancer diagnosis affects patients and loved ones. From the moment a person hears the words, “you have breast cancer” and through the agonizing days of uncertainty that immediately follow, the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation understands.

We understand the rocky road you are being forced to travel.  We understand that your journey will require you to make decisions on surgeries and treatments, and on dealing with loved ones and work.  We understand that as a result of your diagnosis, you’ve been plagued with a myriad of emotions, and we want you to know that the way you are feeling is exactly how you should be feeling.  We want to help you deal with those feelings in a positive way.

The Foundation has an open door policy. We encourage people to stop by to talk with one of our staff members or volunteers.  We also offer drop-in support groups at our Resource Center and throughout the community that are facilitated by licensed clinical social workers.  For more information on days and times of our support groups, click here to view our monthly calendar.
