|Pink Outs occur throughout the year, and are hosted by high school, college and professional sports teams who want to show their support and promote breast cancer awareness. Arenas and stadiums are turned pink with spectators and athletes.|
|Our Heroes Fashion Show is an annual event held in May to celebrate the unique spirit and beauty of breast cancer survivors, who act as models. Their hero escorts include loved ones, doctors, military personnel and emergency response professionals. This entertaining evening leaves participants and guests with memories of a night they won’t soon forget!|
|Liberty Mutual Golf Invitational is held every June, and is a day full of golf, prizes and giveaways for your friends and business associates. Liberty Mutual always strives to support our communities and be a champion for those in need. As part of these efforts, Liberty Mutual is a proud sponsor of this invitational, which is the number one charity event in golf. Each year, thousands of golfers participate for a chance to win great prizes and to help charities within their local community.|
|Highway to Hope Motorcycle Run benefits the Foundation and RI Pink Heals. It begins at Twin River Casino, in Lincoln, Rhode Island, in August, where breast cancer survivors hitch rides with the bikers, and the large convoy of motorcycles make their way to Russ’s Ocean State Harley Davidson in rustic Exeter, where a cookout and swing dance await them.|
|Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life™ is the larges breast cancer awareness event in the Northeast. Held every year on Columbus Day Weekend, in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, this event provides education, exhibits, interactive health screenings, healing arts activities, music and lots of family fun. The pinnacle of the weekend is the Illuminations of Life Ceremony. Breast cancer survivors and loved ones carry torches in memory of those who have lost their battles to breast cancer, and to light the way for those who have yet to begin their journeys.|
|Flames of Hope Run/Walk Series is the final event of the Flames of Hope weekend. A pink sea of runners and walkers start at the state capitol and make their way through the streets of historic Providence, while spectators line the route cheering on the participants for their efforts in the fight against breast cancer.|
To raise breast cancer awareness, increase breast health education, enhance the quality of life for breast cancer patients, as well as their families and friends, and generate funding for local breast health programs
